As an independent social institution, SAWAED aims at establishing a democratic Palestinian society respecting principles of social justice and equality.

For realizing its goal, SAWAED is working on:

·         improving Palestinian citizens conditions regardless of their race or political and ideological affiliations.

·         developing economic and social developmental policies that deal with unemployment, poverty, environment and health problems and enhancing Palestinian people's independence and steadfastness.

·         lobbying for enacting democratic legislations that protect Palestinian citizens rights and maintain their private and public liberties.

·         working on applying principles of accountability and transparency and fighting against corruption and nepotism.

·         enhancing the rule of law, independence of  judiciary and separation of powers

·         enhancing the role and participation of Palestinian youth and women in political life.
